    • Northern Cape: Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the extreme western parts of the province. A heatwave with persistently high temperatures is forecasted over the Richtersveld Municipality until Friday, 16 May.

    • Western Cape: High fire danger conditions are anticipated in the northern parts of the province.

     Coastal Winds

    • Western Cape: Strong winds are expected to affect the coastal areas in the southwest.

    • Johannesburg: Partly sunny with a high of 20°C and a low of 8°C.

    • Pretoria: Expect similar conditions with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 22°C.

    • Soweto: Mild temperatures between 9°C and 21°C under partly cloudy skies.

     Western Cape

    • Cape Town: Clear skies with a high of 25°C and a low of 14°C.

    • Stellenbosch: Sunny with temperatures between 13°C and 26°C.

    • George: Very warm with plenty of sunshine, high of 30°C and low of 14°C.

    • Durban: Pleasant with clouds and sunshine, high of 26°C and low of 16°C.

    • Pietermaritzburg: Mostly cloudy, temperatures ranging from 12°C to 28°C.

    • Richards Bay: Sun and areas of high clouds, high of 27°C and low of 16°C.

     Eastern Cape

    • Port Elizabeth: Sunny and nice, high of 25°C and low of 11°C.

    • East London: Plenty of sunshine, temperatures between 14°C and 27°C.

    • Mthatha: Sunny to partly cloudy, high of 28°C and low of 10°C.
