Carling Knockout Cup: Last 16 Fixtures Announced

The much-anticipated draw for the 2025/26 Carling Black Label Knockout Cup Round of 16 has officially been confirmed, setting up a series of mouthwatering fixtures for South African football fans.
The draw was conducted on Monday, 22 September, at the iconic FNB Stadium in Soweto and broadcast live on SuperSport TV (Channel 202) and SABC Sport, ensuring supporters across the country witnessed the excitement unfold.
How the Draw Worked
In line with competition rules, the Last 16 draw was seeded. The eight clubs that finished in the top half of last season’s Betway Premiership were placed in the seeded pot, while the remaining eight teams were drawn from the unseeded pot.
The procedure involved three bowls:
- Pot A: Seeded clubs (1st to 8th from last season).
- Pot B: Determined home and away status.
- Pot C: Unseeded clubs.
This method ensured a balance between strong contenders and underdogs, setting the stage for competitive matchups.
