Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Internships

The Department of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Internships are now open for applications for the 2025/2027 financial year. These opportunities are designed to empower unemployed graduates, especially women, youth, and persons with disabilities, by giving them valuable workplace exposure in government.

1. Intern: Advocacy and Mainstreaming – Rights of Persons with Disabilities

How to Apply

Applicants must follow the correct application process to avoid being disqualified.

  1. Download and complete the new Z83 application form (from www.gov.za).
  2. Submit a detailed CV (with correct contact details, work experience, and education).
  3. Applications must be submitted as one PDF document via email to the correct address provided for each internship.

Important Notes:

  • Do not send applications as pictures (JPEG) – only PDF is accepted.
  • Email applications must not exceed 15MB.
  • Applications submitted with the old Z83 form will not be considered.
