Hijacking Unfolds on Modderfontein Road, Sebenza
The incident took place on Wednesday along the R25 Modderfontein Road in Sebenza, Ekurhuleni. According to Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo, the suspects hijacked the truck and kidnapped the driver before being intercepted by police forces. The truck was carrying valuable solar batteries, making it a lucrative target for criminals.
The truck driver was rescued unharmed during the operation, and the stolen vehicle was successfully recovered.
