Authorities arrested 25 individuals found to be illegally occupying this land. The Minister issued a stern warning to undocumented immigrants: voluntarily leave South Africa or face the consequences. “Voluntarily deport yourself now, before we arrest and prohibit you from entering or obtaining legal status in South Africa in the future,” he said.

- 40 body-worn cameras for field officers

These technologies are now integrated into immigration control efforts. This allows real-time tracking and improved response capabilities at both borders and inland checkpoints.
