South Africans living abroad no longer face year-long passport delays, thanks to the Department of Home Affairs’ new international service centres. Recently launched in Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, and Wellington with further centres opening soon in the UAE, China, and Europe the initiative slashes processing times from up to 18 months to just five weeks.
