Gauteng Province Weather Today

Gauteng will experience a fine and warm day, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. The UVB sunburn index remains very high, so sun protection is advised.

Mpumalanga

Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Expect isolated showers and thundershowers in the eastern Highveld and along the escarpment.

Limpopo

Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the south from the afternoon. Extremely high fire danger conditions in northern and central parts.

North West

Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Extremely high fire danger warnings are active in the western parts.

Free State

Fine and warm to hot, partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the extreme east. Fire danger warnings apply in western parts.

Northern Cape

Cool along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot. Becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in central and eastern parts. Coastal winds are fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape

Fine in the west, partly cloudy and cool to warm elsewhere. Coastal winds fresh to strong south to south-easterly; light and variable along the south coast becomes moderate to fresh easterly. UVB sunburn index moderate.

Eastern Cape – Western Half

Partly cloudy and cool with a chance of light rain along the east coast. Winds light to moderate easterly along the coast.

Eastern Cape – Eastern Half

Morning fog in places over interior. Otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, except northwest. Winds light to moderate southwesterly becoming easterly by afternoon.

KwaZulu-Natal

Morning fog patches over interior, partly cloudy and cool but warm in the north. Isolated showers and thundershowers expected except in the northeast. Coastal winds moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, shifting north-easterly in south during the evening. UVB sunburn index moderate.
