    On Wednesday, 2 July 2025, South Africa will experience a mix of weather conditions influenced primarily by a cold front moving through the Western Cape. Most provinces will see cool to mild temperatures with generally fine weather, while isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in some regions, particularly in the western and northeastern parts of the country. Coastal areas, especially in KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, will experience windy conditions, with the Western Cape facing increased rainfall and stronger winds due to the approaching cold front. No heatwave warnings are currently in effect nationwide, but residents should remain alert to localized flooding and damaging winds in certain areas.

Morning fog patches may occur in low-lying areas. Temperatures will range from about 8°C in the morning to highs near 20°C in Pretoria and slightly cooler in Johannesburg.

Winds will strengthen, reaching up to 40 km/h, bringing cooler and wet conditions.
