Her achievements include grant funding from the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller. She also received awards from SABC SMME Pitch Competition and QWB+ Allies Pitch. Tshepiso successfully refurbished her business premises with support from African Bank. Her story exemplifies resilience and innovation. Leading this charge is Palesa Mokubung, founder of Mantsho. It is the first African design house to collaborate with global giant H&M in 2018, bringing South African fashion to stores worldwide.
Palesa, often called “the African trend dictator,” holds a Bachelor of Arts in fashion design. She is renowned for her unique prints and textiles that showcase African finesse. Mantsho’s designs balance comfort and sophistication. They have graced prestigious runways at South African Fashion Week and the BRICS Fashion Show.

Mbali’s meticulous approach to product development and marketing led to remarkable sales success. She notably achieved R100,000 in the first hour of launching the Lily Collection. As a prominent beauty content creator with over 388,000 followers, she uses her platform to mentor aspiring African entrepreneurs.
Her ethos centers on passion, perseverance, and relationship-building with customers. This fosters a loyal community she calls the “HERMOSA Flor Family.” Mbali is committed to inspiring young black women to pursue their dreams. She gives back through discreet community outreach projects that provide hope and support.
